Welcome to RichMindset. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our web application.

Your privacy is critically important to us. RichMindset is designed as a client-side application so that we, the developers, do not see, store, or have access to your personal financial data.

1. Information We Collect

When you sign in to RichMindset using your Google Account, we receive the following basic profile information from Google to identify you and manage your session:

• Personal Information: First name, Last name, and Email address.
• Usage: This information is used solely for authentication purposes and to display your name within the application. We do not store this information on any external database or share it with third parties.

2. Financial Data Storage (Client-Side Model)

RichMindset operates differently from traditional finance apps. We do not own or manage any servers to store your financial records.

• Your Drive, Your Data: All financial data you enter (expenses, budget goals, categories) is stored exclusively in your personal Google Drive account within a specific Google Sheet created by the application named "RichMindset.app Data".
• Direct Communication: The application runs directly in your browser and communicates directly with Google APIs. Your financial data never passes through our servers.

3. Google API Scopes and Permissions

To function correctly, RichMindset requests the following limited permissions:

• email and profile: To authenticate you.
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file: This is a non-sensitive scope that allows the application to access only the specific files that it creates or opens. It does not give us access to your entire Google Drive or other spreadsheets.

4. Data Usage and Sharing

• No Third-Party Sharing: We do not share, sell, transfer, or disclose your Google user data to any third parties.
• No Advertising: Your data is not used for personalized advertising or marketing purposes.
• No AI Training: Your data is not used to train artificial intelligence models.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Because we do not store your data, you have full control:

• Retention: Your data remains in your Google Drive as long as you keep the spreadsheet file.
• Deletion: You can delete your data at any time by simply deleting the "RichMindset.app Data" spreadsheet from your Google Drive. You can also revoke the application's access permissions via your Google Account security settings.

6. Limited Use Disclosure

RichMindset's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

7. Children's Privacy

Our service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our local states. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
